I see that the 6ft 3 inch 36 year old policeman who was accused of viciously assulting a very threatening 5ft 2 inch 59 year old Lady has been aquitted on appeal

The fact it was all caught on heard on a speaker/camera service\housed within the police station and the fact the Lady's face was half the size of a house apparently counts for nothing in the eyes of Mr. Justice Bean very aptly named though I doubt even Rowan Atkinson could top this latest piece of farce..

ThisPoliceman is beneath contempt not even having the decency to plead guilty in the first place. Never mind mate as you probably expected your pals have seen you right.

Overkill

I wonder if like me you think that this royal wedding is being subject to much overkill. #0 pages of coverage in the daily mail in one day followed by pull out supplements memento's already being advertised. Lets be fair a young couple are getting married thats all there is too it. They are doing something most of us do. I find the patronising simpering and crawling stupid journalistic questions so very uninteresting as I suspect do William and Kate. or should I say Katherine these days.

I just hope that the present Prince of Wales (spineless git) has the good grace to do a decent thing for once in his life and forfeit his right to the throne leaving the way clear for his son.I say hope more than expectation cos well as always hewill probably cop out.

What A Friend

Good Evening anybody. I should have entitled this blog Want a Friend cos the whole point of blogging in my opinion is to widen ones friendship as well as broadening the mind.Now I am male and 63 just about and I spose fairly normal and boring.

I watch most sporting events, read a bit, write some poetry on an amateur basis, I walk the countryside which I love and living in the heart of the Cotswolds I consider myself very fortunate to be able to follow my pursuits.i love having animals around me at present we have a Golden Retriever "Chancer"  who lives up to his name plus a couple of horses including an ex racer who is a handful.There are many subjects where I can express some forceful opinion and for the gambling interest well " What A Friend" should tell you something or perhaps for older folk "Comedy Of Errors".

So any readers there is a brief introduction done in the absence of any meaningful Television aint the weekend noticably devoid of entertainment.
